i wanted to update my review based on getting slammed by a total idiot who thinks i work for veros credit and thinks my reviews are fake! i just want to say i am not an employee or do i know people who work for veros credit. i love this finance company they are awesome and i have never had any problem with them i always pay my payments on time and i have looked at my credit rating yesterday to see that it's all updated with all my payments and thanks to veros credit my credit is going up. i will continue to use veros credit if i ever need another finance loan. veros credit is the best finance company i have been with and i will continue to use them. i do not have any thing else to say. thank you vanessa fisher.

ZERO STARS. They are so unprofessional. I have NEVER been late till now and i have paid over $9,000 on this car. and they will not work with me and they are now harassing not just me at work but my co-workers. i have a list of things on them. They need to be sued.

ZERO STAR RATING. Bullshit reps, bullshit management, bullshit business. They hope you get behind and then take all your money then still repo the vehicle. We were one month behind, we called them to make arrangements, they took our money and the rep didn't process the payment. To hell with this place. If we live local i would of went into that office and kicked some asses. Please prople, finance your vehicles through a credit union or open an account with a bank or local lender. If vreos is your only option then, keep your down payment and buy from a private owner. Then take your chances on that.

Worst company EVER. IN THE last 2 years I've paid my full payment plus any of all late fees they can add to my account. I never fought once but this December my car had a huge problem I had to fix around 1,000$ and I called to ask if they can move my December payment at the end of the loan something like Westlake would have done. And they wanted me to jump thru hoops for a fax and then they will see if it's worth giving me that option. Tow my car$$ get another estimate$$$ tow it back $$ and risk a no? So what I did pay majority of the payment and ask for time to pay the rest. I got a new letter in the mail to pay the new amount with the past due I said great I'll pay it in 31 and now I'm getting harassed again that my car will be repo for because of 2 days. They can with 2 days they wanted 30$ now they want $70 and the full payment on the 31. Wish I would have gotten Westlake instead this would not be happening! I hate being rude to people but I know how a financial company works they can't pull that shit on me. I'm not even 60 days late with no payment shit I'm not even 30 days late with a full payment! If you can avoid them do so Westlake will work with you. Zeroo stars

I wish Yelp had a negative star! I was looking into a used car, did all the 3.5 hours worth of paperwork and was told Veros credit approved me and all I have to do is get full coverage insurance. $400 later I have insurance and I signed the contract and took off. I was happy loving my ride but then after 2 weeks I get a call from the dealership asking me to return the car because Veros called my company that I have been employed with for a year and said they could not verify my employment. I asked my HR manager what did they ask, she said they asked questions that was not allowed so she did not answer them. I returned the car, the dealer returned my down payment money in full and I canceled the insurance and only getting a $40 refund from $400! Now Veros I'm sure you don't care but the fact that you broke a signed contract after agreeing to my down payment and monthly payments and you made me purchase insurance or else I couldn't of taken the car home, I think it's only fair you pay me my difference that I'm loosing. On top of that my gasoline that I wasted a few days after just to meet the dealer half way from my home because you caught a incorrect date on the original contract. I'm interested to find out what this company will do? If you have people that look into this then by all means call the San Diego office, (619)354-5611, they will know who I am by reading this. Unless you have multiple mistakes? If you care about the quality of customer service then I you want to make this right, all I'm asking for is the money I lost for your mess up. I should not have to pay for someone else's mistake.

They have succeeded in possibly opening a class action They are reporting on credit reports that cars are not being paid for and cars that are repoed they are reporting as bot recovered which screws with your credit Im currently helping a kid that had got pulled over and the officer impounded the car Two days later Veros had the car picked up and sent him a letter that they were protecting their interest. The payment came due and they wanted a recovery fee of 1209 plus the 350 payment then charged the loan off but to date is reporting the loan late and the car not recovered Get a lian from ANYONE but them as you can see they dont have a high rating so.

Every single time I call to get some info, they need a billion things even when it's not regarding my account. A simple question (eg what's the grace period) turns into nightmare. The online account is the worst as well. I've been called dumb, been told "I must be slow because I don't listen," and they've even answered just by saying "hello," which makes me think I must have dialed the wrong number to begin with. This company has been the most unprofessional "business" I've ever dealt with. They always speak to me in spanish even though I am speaking to them in English and even then it's hard to understand them. At one point I called and asked for their money gram business code to make a payment, upon realizing it was a $10 fee I decided to login and pay my account online with me debit card. Low and behold I got a call and email saying they were cancelling my payment because I told them I would be making it via money gram. I told them I simply asked for their code. They responded with, "well you're only option now is to pay with money gram, have a good day and hung up." Yelp, a 0 stars would be helpful.

Completely incompetent. They take money out on the wrong day all the time and sometimes to make up for it they'll take it out twice in one month. I regret going through this company. No matter how horrible your credit don't go through them. Paying 24,000 dollars for a 12,000 dollar vehicle should be a crime. Stay away from this horrible company .

And another thing, when we told them we were calling BBB to file a complaint, she hung up on us. So professional. Later that day we received a voicemail saying they looked into the matter and adjusted our account accordingly. I thought thank god that was taken care of. Nope, here we are a week later, receiving a call, saying we owe that $. WTH. We told them who we spoke to and offered to play the voicemail for them. They declined, just asking who we spoke to. Umm if youre interested in settling this, wouldnt you want to hear the voicemail. Crooked ass business. So now WE have to call THEM back on Monday to see the outcome. Shouldnt they be calling US? Lol.

So after they revamped their website, I was excited to start paying online again. Not so fast, still had to reset my password monthly. and now getting an Unsafe Privacy warning from my browser, that won't even let me open the page. I tried another browser to make sure it wasn't just acting weird and got the same message. For the protection of your identity and computer, don't use their website to pay your bill.

This company has doinked me for the last time initially a 7,500 car loan turned out to be more like 17,500 after the HIGH INTEREST CHARGES. My credit was not the greatest and they took right advantage of it. I am getting rid of the car and paying off loan. It's not the staff it is the company. Everyone in the Santa Ana office is nice they are just doing their jobs, Think twice before financing anything with this company.

I have met one or two of their employees and talked on the phone with a couple others. I have found them to be friendly, helpful, and quick. Yes, they are a higher-interest finance company, but they give people with less than strong credit a way to go, and they do it well. Thanks, and I can't wait to work with you again!

I hate these people with a passion. If their building was on fire, I laugh my bawls off watching everyone burn.

Completely rude and uneducated staff. Not sure who they are hiring but they lack people and customer service skills. Kept me on hold for 30 minutes and came back on the phone to say the system is down. I believe that was a lie because I asked to speak with a manager. Avoid getting a loan with these low life's.

Which they never told me about so how am I supposed to pay it if they don't mention it. On top of that they don't explain anything to you at all in detail. They have the WORST customer service people here! They harass you even if you traded in your car for a new one. I wasn't late on my payment but they continue to torment you for money even though I told them I no longer have the old car. I fucking sold my car and got me a better one. Fuck these fuckers! A 10 not a five because they have never bothered me and I always make my payments online and never once received a phone call. People should be grateful the company actually chose to finance them in the first place. MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS ON TIME AND YOU WONT HAVE A PROBLEM. Read more

My bill shows 0 past due. I have all my receipts they reported to the credit bureau that we never made an on time payment! They also have it reported SCNL which means they charged off the lien and never recovered the vehicle. I have the letter two weeks later that they picked up the vehicle. I have an old credit report where they reported it on time always.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
i have now gone and filed a petition to sue them.
They are vicious mean people, our car got impounded because my daughter didnt put the insurance card in it. Thats all. Not even a ticket, but Veros picked the car from impound for 293.00 and wanted us to pay 675 plus a repo fee so my fax to them was they were cancelling their agreement from this day forward. So they reopened the loan put in all 9's for ALL the payments and made threats to me today on the phone.
They refuse to allow me to speak to the legal department.
Game on. I bet i win! I save everything even from 4 years ago.

I have yet to speak to a professional person with the exception of the very first girl i spoke with who was trying to get my account up and running. They were contacting me for a week for a payment and 20 days later i received the welcome letter with the info to make payments, which i finally was able to. They lie, they speak to you like you dont know what you are talking about. I have had it with them. i have submitted other financing applications which should be done in the next two days. I will pay off, since i put a lot down on my car and i will let everyone know what a horrible experience it is. i have recorded my phone conversations with them after the second one with Manuel, their collections rep. He seems to feel that he knows everything, however, i have an email from Veros, that he told me I was "lying" about, and i forwarded it to them. I never received an im sorry. there are many things going on here, im aftaid of double payments this month because they have two accounts of mine and i didnt know which one they would debit, manuel said, they dont debit automatically, but they did. then they sent me a confirmation email, which manuel said, they dont do. then because it was the wrong account, the payment didnt post. however, in the mean time, i sent an email to customerservice@veroscre…. like the site says, and gave them the correct information to charge. i then deleted my checking information in their system. Manuel cant see it now, so he told me it was never there. This guy answers the phone saying things unprofessional making references to drugs and stuff. This guy is going to cost the company lots of business. Notify your dealer, let them know, evidently, they dont have to submit to this company, unless its a last resort. Even if you have bad credit, and Veros picked you up, if you have the kind of phone conversations like i do, you can prove to another company why you are seeking other financing so soon after purchase. File complaints, let others know. When people see what this company is like, unfortunately, they will just change their name, but bad employees will continue to poison your business, until you get rid of the poison. I am informing everyone i can, and im going to lock my car in the garage until my financing check is cut next week, in case of retaliation, and then i will continue to inform people. I have never, in the three times i left a msg for the manager, sylvia, received a return phone call. They seem to screen the calls also, i noticed that yesterday, right after i spoke to manuel, i called back asking for Sylvia and was put on hold for 12 minutes and then he took a msg. I called back again, when i gave my name, i was put on hold for 8 minutes and disconnected. This is not the great customer service they say they provide. I have all my phone calls and the text he said they dont send, and the call where he says they dont sent text messages and his rudness. so, like i said, you will need other financing, so just dont even begin with them. good luck. They all tell you different terms and conditions and when you question them about why they say one thing and do something else, they get loud and rude. And when youre upset because they interrupt you and dont let you speak, they laugh and make comments. And even tho you know what they told you, they act like youre stupid and you cant fight them because theyre the finance company and theyre allowed to change their mind at the drop of a hat. Right now theyre trying to charge us extra saying we didnt have insurance. Not only have we had insurance, our agent has faxed it to them numerous times over the past 6 months. And after verifying with our agent that we DO have insurance, they still want to charge us a $72 fee. We protested saying why should we pay for their mistake. We werent given an explanation but were told our car can be repo'd if we dont pay the $72. They are crooks and i dont know how they can look at themselves in the mirror after the way they handle "business". BTW, Yelp needs a NO star rating. Read more

I have never had a problem getting harassed for payments, as I pay my bill early every month.… I have never had a problem getting harassed for payments, as I pay my bill early every month. However, just calling with a general question or issue is a nightmare. The people that work here are so incompetent and clearly uneducated. I have to reset my password for online bill pay EVERY MONTH. When I called to complain, the guy suggested I forgot my password and perhaps didn't know how to use online log in. Ummm, what. He claims they have never had that issue before with another customer, when there are clearly other Yelp reviews stating the same issue.
